Knee Replacement Surgery Testimonials
Since my twenties I had problems with my knees, numerous arthroscopies and endless physiotherapy input had been unsuccessful in resolving my problems. In my early thirties I was extremely fit, worked as a personal trainer, ran marathons but it just kept holding me back. I was in constant pain, with cracking, crunching, swelling, stairs were a real issue. Pain can become very debilitating in your life and no matter what was tried it was never under control. I also have Multiple Sclerosis and psoriatic arthritis, so the knees were just another pain to cope with. After an operation by another consultant to re align my knee caps I was told that my only option was knee replacements. I was only 38.
To be honest I didn’t have high hopes but I was prepared to do anything if it might make things just a little bit better.
Mr Gordon performed my surgery in June 2012, I won’t lie to you, it is painful having both knees done at the same time and I did wonder if I had a huge mistake immediately after surgery, but the standard of care I received was exemplary, I was supported all the way through my recovery and rehabilitation. Mr Gordon has performed an excellent job on my knees, for the first time in nearly 20 years I have NO pain in my knees, I have full range of movement and I can rely on my knees to keep going and not let me down. I am hugely grateful to Mr Gordon and his team who performed the surgery and looked after me post operatively, I couldn’t have wished for a better outcome. It sounds maybe over the top but Mr Gordon gave my life back, my knees work and they are pain free after 20 years! If you are contemplating surgery on your knees or even any other orthopedic procedure by Mr Gordon I would highly recommend him. I couldn’t be happier with the results that I have and am extremely grateful that after all these years someone has finally fixed me!
